Randy Starr, CPI Sales Manager - Midwest
Randy has a strong sales background with proven sales growth year after year. Randy worked for Akro Corportion in Canton, OH for 14 years where he worked his way from the credit manager to export manager to customer service manager to regional sales manager and then national sales manager. This was where Randy learned his tremendous customer service approach to distributors. He truly understand the entire process of manufacturing and customer relations.
Randy’s next challenge was with Crown mats where he held the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for 7 years. Randy was responsible for the annual sales budgets as well as producing all of the marketing materials. He worked with all of the major jan/san buying groups and attended over 12 trade shows a year. Randy continued his sales management when he went to work for Golden Star, Inc. For over 5 years he was the regional sales manager selling mats and mops to the janitorial industry. He became the key player in textile rental accounts and grew this market segment for Golden Star.
Randy then went to work for Technical Concepts (a Rubbermaid company), In the 3 years of working with them he was in charge of Market Development and Service Channel Management. Randy then went to work for Deb Group, one of the largest hand soap manufacturers in the world. In 5 years in working for Deb he was the National Sales manager for the US, then took on his own territory when the company went from independent representation to their own sales force. In 2014, Randy joined the CPI sales team to run the same territory that he covered for Deb.
